[Voyage-linux] Voyage 0.5.2 and VMWare

Hi Punky,
Thanks for the hints but I've already tried the 2.6.26-voyage kernel as
stated in my first email. I used the voyage .config file from
www.voyage.hk/download/kernel_config/ and just added SMP and a few
network cards. I didn't touch the SCSI modules at all. (I even used initrd)
Also, the 0.5.2 (2.6.23-voyage) kernel boots just fine in VMware. If I
try to recompile it and just add a few things without touching the SCSI
drivers, it will not boot as well.
As a control, I compiled the 2.6.23-voyage kernel using the config file
from the website without editing. This kernel also failed to boot properly.
I'm really at a loss as to why the stock 2.6.23-voyage kernel will boot,
but when I compile my own, using the same options, it won't.
