Here's part of the dmesg, had to hand copy it....

Begin: Mounting Root FileSystem... Begin: Running /scripts/local-top... done
Begin: Waiting for Root filesystem
           ...done.
Gave up waiting for root device. Common problems:
    - boot args
      - check root delay ......
      - check root = ......
    - missing modules ....

ALERT! /dev/disk/by_label/ROOT_FS does note exist. Dropping to a shell

>From the message waiting for root filesystem to the gave out message there is about 4min's wait.
I have check to see if there are any other error messages, I could not find anything. all the
config seems to be correct. I have tried two different PC104 boards a old Kontron and a Winsystems
same problem. Hard Drive's/CF's are IDE. I did try installing this on a standard pc, 1.2Ghz via cpu and it worked fine however the HD was SATA. Like I said before the Live-CD 6.X boots up fine and the install works fine as
well. Voyage 5.2 works with no problem. Is the kernel on the live-cd 6.X the same as the installed kernel, once
you have done the install?

thank-you
Peter
