It is a USB external DVD burner (Plextor PX-716UF)

With the Microclient JrDX, the SD card is accessed through the IDE
interface. It is connected on the primary IDE adapter. The compact
flash adapter is connected as the secondary IDE adapter

The USB based flash device (sda1) was a flash drive that I plugged into
the machine so that I could copy off the boot log to another machine. I
was able to install voyage on this driver successfully, by the way.

It boots from the CD just fine. The trouble that I am running into is
that I cannot make it through the process of formatting the SD card as
follows:

  format-cf.sh /dev/hda

The IRQ turnoff message from the kernel occurs while superblocks and
file system accounting info is being written.

Thanks,
