[Voyage-linux] Help 802.11a

Good Morning all. 

I wanna configure 2 Alix boards in 802.11.a (5.8GHz) using ath5k from voyage-0.6.0.
I've to use madwifi like AP..? 
Can I use ath5k like AP..? 
or how do i have to configure the /etc/networking/interfaces for enable 802.11a..?

Or you know other solutions for use 802.11a..?
