[Voyage-linux] Shutdown and hwclock writing on RO filesytem
Teco Boot
(spam-protected)
Fri Jan 29 23:43:53 HKT 2010
During shutdown, the following message appears:
Saving the system clock.
hwclock: Could not open file with the clock adjustment parameters in it
(/etc/adjtime) for writing, errno=30: Read-only file system.
Drift adjustment parameters not updated.
Tested on daily build, date 19jan2010.
I'm not sure /etc/adjtime being written is useful.
My Alix devices haven't battery backup clock, but I reboot from time to
time.
And is hwclock --adjust performed every now and then?
Useful?
Regards, Teco
