[Voyage-linux] ro/rw problem with GDM

Hi,

I am working on Alix 3D3 board and trying to run GDM on the box.

GDM needs to write to /usr/lib/gconv/gconv-modules.cache file to work
properly. If GDM is started before voyage-util init script is run,
voyage-util is not able to remount the filesystem in RO mode. While,
if I run voyage-util before GDM, it can't start as it wants to write
to the cache file and that's read only.

I then created /lib/init/rw/usr/lib/gconv/gconv-modules.cache but it
didn't work. The directory /usr/lib/gconv/ is of around 6.7MB so I
would not like to load this whole directory into the RAM when all I
need is just one writable file.

Could someone please guide me in the correct direction.

Thanks in advance.
regards,
Nishant
