[Voyage-linux] Voyage MPD & LIRC

Hi,

I am trying to setup a serial remote with my voyage mpd running on alix 1c.
I have a packard bell remote. It used to work with Voyage 0.6.5. But for
some reason I couldn't make it work.

root at voyage:~# dmesg | grep lirc
[   26.449832] lirc_dev: IR Remote Control driver registered, major 61
[   27.320112] lirc_serial: auto-detected active high receiver
[   27.320207] lirc_dev: lirc_register_plugin: sample_rate: 0


I see /dev/lirc0 registers

root at voyage:/etc/lirc# ls -l /dev/lirc0
crw-rw---- 1 root video 61, 0 Feb 13 12:53 /dev/lirc0


When I run

root at voyage:~# /usr/sbin/lircd -n -d=/dev/lirc0 /etc/lirc/lircd.conf

root at voyage:~# irw

on two different ssh session, I see the following message

lircd-0.8.7-pre3[2326]: accepted new client on /var/run/lirc/lircd
lircd-0.8.7-pre3[2326]: could not get file information for =/dev/lirc0
lircd-0.8.7-pre3[2326]: default_init(): No such file or directory
lircd-0.8.7-pre3[2326]: Failed to initialize hardware

Any help will be appreciated....
