[Voyage-linux] lcd4linux mpd problem

I have been trying for two days to get lcd4linux setup for use with the 
mpd plugin.  I tried to post a ticket at lcd4linux, but their spam 
system won't allow me to post a ticket from their ticket web page???

So I thought I would check here to see if anyone has this combination up 
and working.

I have no problem connecting to my CFA635 Display.  I have installed 
libmpdclient and re-compiled lcd4linux.

But for some reason, all if the mpd functions called by the plugin 
cannot be found.  I get a list of "evaluator: unknown function 
"mpd::xxxxxxx" when I do lcd4linux - Fvv.

I would appreciate any advice or comments.
