If all your music is located in the above folder you can just edit
your /etc/mpd.conf file so the line
music_directory         "/.../"
matches your environment, so it would read
music_directory         "/mnt/HD_a2/Music/flac"
restart mpd  (/etc/init.d/mpd restart) update your database (one way
would be mpc update) once it's done you should be good to go.
