[Voyage-linux] Problem mounting USB HDD

Kevin - yes, no problem with detaching to add music; I was not sure whether
mounting read-only was contributing to the problem. It apparently is not so
no issue there. Once chkdsk is run with the drive attached to a Windows
machine it mounts with no errors and mounts as rw. Unfortunately, whether
mounted read-only or rw, it still does not list songs after 'mpc update'
even after allowing the full range of permissions under both the security
and sharing tabs in Windows. Even tried putting some songs in the root
directory as against the artist directories, no luck reading them either.
Would ntfs-3g be any different to what's on the standard package, does
anyone know??

Microsoft doesn't make the spec available. That's why there's no rw
support.
Since it's just music, why not just mount it read-only? detach to load more
music on it, then reattach to play.
