[Voyage-linux] [OT] Program accessing a device

This is a generic linux question, I hope someone can point me in the
right direction.  I have small NAS unit that has a built in fan.  The
device is located at /sys/devices/platform/wdc-fan.  

 

If I write a speed to the fan it is set then it get overwritten by some
other program.  Is there a way I can see what program is writing to that
device so I can disable it?
