Hi Joseph,
I think you may have misunderstood my reply regarding the HF noise on
the Cubieboard.
The problem is that the noise MAY be very small and not important, it
MAY all be in the way the scope sees it.
I cannot use my oscilloscope to measure it as the 'scope is being
swamped by earth loop induced noise signals.
I need to find a way to connect the scope so the common mode noise is
rejected, and then I can measure noise on the analogue signal lines.
It is also quite difficult to find good points on the Cubieboard where I
can apply my scope probes and ground connections without shorting out
and blowing up the board. I have found web sites showing complicated
jigs to apply and hold point contact probes in the correct places on LSI
modules.
Also my Hitachi V1100 scope is getting very elderly and has quite a low
( 100Mhz) bandwidth, so even if I find a way to connect it , the
results may not be very accurate.
regards
Patrick
