[Voyage-linux] ifdown/ifup on ath0 causes WRAP to reboot

Sorry I missed the *not* is the previous mail.  It should read "Tried

I don't know why, may be my /etc/network/interfaces is a bit different
that you.  But I recalled that I have similar problem with earlier
madwifi-ng builds.  My experience is if I have ifdown a br0 (WDS
bridge) and ifup ath0 (ad-hoc), kernel panic asserted.

But to get around you problem, you may try to use "up iwconfig ath0
channel" and rate instead of using "wireless-channel" and
"wireless-rate".  And I also recalled that the sequence for iwconfig
rate and channel is a bit tricky, sometimes it will screw you up.
