it is not exactly this way. The 0,6W is the irradiated power (not the
consumed!), the maximum consumed power is 3'3V * 1'3A = 4'3W per card.
For this reason we have to be sure we give enough amperage to feed the
board and the cards.
POE can manage up to 2A, the AC adapter most of us are using is a 18V -
0'8A (or 12V - 1A) one, so it is not enough to "play hard".
have any of you guys tried to use a higher (than 1A) amperage to feed
the boards?
I think it could be the answer...
