BA was written as patch for Kernel 2.4.19. It seems that there is no
need to use Kernel version 2.6.5 as the bridge-modules are already
built into the current kernel version(s).

Also the bridge-utils which seems to be needed by BA are in the
current Debian repositories:

That said I also agree with John that BA looks a bit outdated. There
might be better alternatives.
